About the role
FlightStory is hiring a long-form Video Editor for The Diary Of A CEO, turning raw footage from 9 to 13 cameras into retention-driven episodes for YouTube. You'll own each edit end to end, working with the production team and senior creatives.
Day to day, you'll edit and deliver weekly podcast episodes with strong pacing and emotional impact, work across large multicam timelines and multiple audio channels, contribute to pre-production outlines and packaging, research long-form YouTube trends, and keep project files and workflows well organised.
You'll need at least three years of professional editing experience with a portfolio of long-form multicam work such as podcasts, interviews or documentaries, advanced Adobe Premiere Pro skills, a strong sense of pacing and story structure, and an understanding of retention curves and how edits affect watch time.
The role reports to the Head of Production Operations. FlightStory has an in-person-first culture, and the role is based in London (a Los Angeles option is also offered).
